Jo Fabro Quartet - Live Jazz at Blues Point Hotel. July 29 from 2.30PM

Jo Fabro has been making her mark on the Australian Music scene for a number of years. A powerful and dynamic vocalist, Jo has lent her voice to soul, blues and jazz music with great tenacity, and a unique style which is all her own. 

Bringing her personal touch to jazz and soul tunes, Jo has performed both solo and with the quartet in Tokyo Japan, at the Tauranga Jazz Festival in New Zealand, The Manly jazz festival, Peats Ridge music festival and the Darling Harbour jazz Festival, as well being a regular feature at many of Australia’s top music venues. In 2005 Jo was accepted as a top 10 Finalist in the Vocalist of the Year competition at Wangaratta Jazz Festival, and has subsequently released three independent albums. 

The quartet features some of Australia and New Zealand’s most acclaimed musicians; including award-winning pianist Steve Barry, the riveting sounds of bassist Nick Hoorweg, and New Zealand’s finest export drummer Dan Kennedy.
