BPYC Committee

The following are the Blues Point Yacht Club committee for 2023/2024:

  • Treasurer: Ann Davey

  • Committee member: Greg Heath

  • Committee member: Hugh Babington

  • Committee member: Glen Ormerod

Sub- Committees

Handicaps: the BPYC uses the SailSys handicapping system that was successfully trialled in previous seasons. It has produced very good results and makes the process objective. Should a handicap committee be required it will be formed as per BPYC constitution.

Protests: the process for protests is governed by AS Racing Rules of Sailing and the BPYC sailing instructions and constitution. If required a protest committee can be formed.

Getting Involved

If you're interested in playing a more active role at the club, you can download a form to nominate for committee membership here. Additionally we are always looking for volunteers to help with the meat raffle, which is an important source of income for the club. Please contact any of the committee members if you would like to help out.
