BPYC Launches first new website since 1996

In news sure to shock the sailing community in Sydney, the harbour's least prestigious yacht club has finally invested the princely sum of $19 to get a new website developed using the scourge of all podcast listeners, Squarespace.

Ex-Commodore and all-round cheerful chappie Allan Rintoul commented, "I don't know what the fuss is about.  We built the last site just 20 years ago and as far as I'm concerned, it was doing perfectly fine.  This is yet another example of some of the so-called younger members wasting club money on new-fangled doodahs".

When approached for comment, Australian Olympic Sailing champion, Tom Slingsby said, "Who the hell are Blues Point Yacht Club?  Will you please leave me alone, or I'll call the police."

The Cruising Yacht Club of Australia have called an Emergency General Meeting to discuss their response.
